Yorktown Special Event Saturday October 28

On Saturday, October 28 WAARC will be setting up for its Yorktown Special Event. Like last year, we are setting up at Charles Brown Park in Lackey, just west of Yorktown.

As per usual, the troup will gather to begin setting up antennas at 8:30am with the goal of being on the air at 10am. This year, we will be using the new Yaesu FT-710 that was purchased as a part of the station being set up at the Waterman’s Museum.

QSL information is good on QRZ.com as well as the Contact Us page. We also upload contacts to LoTW. If you have worked all three special event stations (Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown) please contact the QSL manager for your Historic Triangle Special Event certificate.
