Even though Morse code is no longer a requirement for obtaining an amateur license, it’s still alive and a widely used mode of operation, especially in low power setups. Anyone that is interested in Morse code are welcome to join us for our weekly code class.
Currently, WAARC is not having code class. However, we do hope to restart this program during the winter months starting around the first of 2019. Please watch this site to get the latest information on the classes including time and location.
If you are anxious and just can’t wait, the following link is an excellent alternative site for learning morse code for amateur use.
From beginners to experienced code operators looking to build up speed, code class is a great way to learn Morse code or practice using it before getting on the air.
