Virtual Builders Group special guest, Bill Meara N2CQR
The WAARC Virtual Builders Group met this past Saturday (9/24) with a special guest, Bill Meara N2CQR who hosts the SolderSmoke internet blog (http://soldersmoke.blogspot.com). Bill shared with club members his view of why homebrewing is an important aspect of our ham radio hobby. Understanding how our radios work is one of our core competencies and working with circuits at the component level adds to that understanding. Two lucky members won Bill’s book SolderSmoke: Global Adventures in Wireless Electronics as door prizes.
