Colonial Williamsburg Special Event JULY 11

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, WAARC will hold its Colonial Williamsburg Special Event on JULY 11. This is a change from the usual first Saturday in July as it would be difficult to hold the event station on July 4th.

As usual, it will be held at the picnic shelter in Quarterpath Park on Quarterpath Road in Williamsburg. Setup will begin at around 8:30am with the goal of being on the air at around 10am. We plan to operate until about 4PM.

Planned operating frequencies are 7.265 MHz and 14.265 MHz +/- QRM.

For those that are able to check out the station in person, there will be lunch at Old City Barbeque on York St around noon. If you are not interested in lunch, show up to operate during lunch.

Please check out the Special Event Stations page for more information about our annual special event stations as well as QSL information.
