Virginia QSO Party

Virginia QSO Party - The 3rd weekend in March of each year. This is the weekend for the VA QSO party we have been waiting for since last year. Remember, when you prepare your log, in the line asking for "Club Name" be sure to write "WILLIAMSBURG AREA ARC" so  the club will receive credit for your contacts toward a club award. Note: DO NOT USE INITIALS "WAARC" as there might be another club with the same initials, and the sponsors will get very confused.

Field Day

The fourth full weekend in June of each year is the time for Field Day. -WAARC uses an area on the Chicahominy River at the end of Brickyard Road off Old Forge Rd, near Toano, Virginia.   The club will once again venture out the ends of the earth for it's Field Day exercise. This site is a favorite for the members as it has shelter, power, bathrooms and fewer creepy-crawly things to contend with. Chair-person, Dave W9NNK is the man to contact if you have anything to offer or need any information about this exciting event.
